It is the time of advancement so Computer Education is a requirement of this modern generation. At present, Computer literacy is defined as the knowledge & ability to use computers and related technology efficiently. Computer literacy can submit to the comfort level someone has with using computer programs and other applications that are associated with computers.
The computer technology is now spreading all over the world. Computers were not having any type of pressure on our life. That time no one would have imagined that computer would one day a very vital part of our life. At this modern and advance generation computer playing vital role in all section. Computer education is not only a requirement of our life but also it is the ladder of our success.
We, and computers, have come a long way from older days. Now computers have occupied every feature of modern life. Education is no immunity. Much has been made of using the computer as a tool in teaching. Word processors use for writing, spreadsheets use for mathematics & science, and databases for organizing information. Recently, the Internet has become recognized as a research tool. The need for computer literate people knows no limits.
In various schools computer education has become an educational ghetto unluckily. Computer departments, or all too often the "computer teacher", are isolated with their offerings having a tenuous connection to the rest of the curriculum at best. Computers are used to teach about computers. Computers are not being used as tools to teach other subjects. Computers do not act only as storage or processing device, they are the biggest sources of entertainment & communication as well. One can get connected to another in other part of world in no time with the help of computers. It helps in searching and retrieving vast information over internet also and only computer education can increase the applications of computer across the world. So we can say that computer is the requirement of our present and future.
