Online Registration has been started for Net, the examination will be held on 24th Dec, 2011. Online Registration will be closed on 25th Oct, 2011.
The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) organizes NET (National Eligibility Test) to decide eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to make sure lowest amount standards for the entrants in the teaching profession & research.
The Test is organized in Humanities, Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. The test for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) is being organized in the year 1984. The Goverment of India, through its notification dated 22nd July in the year 1988 commends the task of organizing the eligibility test for lectureship to UGC (University Grant Commission).
